Dominique Hargreaves is the director of sustainability and corporate social responsibility at American Realty Advisors.
For over ten years, Dominique Hargreaves has been a recognized expert in sustainability in the built environment. During that period, she has held a variety of leadership roles in the Los Angeles area, most recently as the deputy chief sustainability officer for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. In that organization she played a significant role in developing the City of Los Angeles Sustainability Plan as well as serving as the environmental policy expert around zero carbon buildings, clean construction practices, and responsible investment. Prior to that, Dominique was the executive director of the Los Angeles chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council-LA which is the premier sustainability non-profit organization in southern California for action, education and engagement around sustainable buildings. During that period, she hosted the Greenbuild conference and expo in 2016 which brought 18,000 people to Los Angeles.
Dominique has been honored with the Women in Business Award from Senator Portantino, the Women in Sustainability Leadership Award from Green Building and Design magazine, and the Heart of the Chapter Award from the USGBCLA. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University. She was born in Orange County, California, and resides in Pasadena.
