Adam Weis is an architect with experience in a diverse range of project types including high-rise, affordable housing, education, and master planning. Adam’s past as a professional woodworker informs his love of craft and has inspired a deep interest in wood structures. He is a subject matter expert on mass timber construction within IBI and leads the firm’s initiative to forward mass timber construction as a low carbon alternative to concrete and steel. Adam is currently developing a prototype mass timber project for academic institutions. Adam works from IBI’s office in Portland, OR.
