Maya is a Manager at the Association for Energy Affordability, a non-profit dedicated to providing energy efficiency to affordable housing communities. Maya specializes in guiding multifamily buildings through energy efficiency retrofits under LIWP, MAHEP, and EPIC Grants by developing energy models, calculating energy savings, and creating detailed retrofit recommendations and specifications. Maya also has extensive experience building energy models in CBECC and EnergyPro to help all-electric projects exceed CA T-24 energy requirements. Maya is passionate about finding energy efficiency retrofit solutions that support sustainable, healthy homes.

Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
