Luke Lombardi joined Thornton Tomasetti’s (TT) Los Angeles office as a structural engineer in 2016 after completing his studies at Stanford University. Luke is an office "Green Champion", organizing events around Earth Week and office wellness. As a CORE “rep” for TT’s R&D group, Luke has demonstrated CORE's open-source embodied carbon calculator, Beacon, to show engineers and architects how to easily extract embodied carbon from Revit. Since joining the SEI Sustainability Committee in 2019, Luke has actively participated in the SE 2050 program planning and launch in 2020 and helped found the local Carbon Leadership Forum Hub in LA.
