Heather is the founder of the Building Resilience Network, which helps businesses and their surrounding communities on the path toward physical, social and economic resilience. Heather currently works with the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark to develop a Resilience Module for real estate investment companies and funds. In partnership with community-based organizations and the City of Los Angeles, she is developing a network of neighborhood resilience hubs to support local communities in times of disasters. An ecologist by training, Heather formerly served as a principal at CTG Energetics, where she led sustainability projects at the local, regional and national scale.
